Do you know Aladdin story? It is a famous Arabic folk tale from One Thousand and One Nights, a collection of stories collected over thousands of years by various authors, translators and scholars in various countries. The name ‘Aladdin’ is actually ‘Ala ad-Din’, and the story probably came from Syria.
Aladdin, a poor young man, is sent by a sorcerer to get a magic lamp from a cave – but isn’t told that it’s protected by a curse. Angry at the lie, Aladdin keeps the lamp, and finds that a genie lives inside who can grant him wishes. He uses this power selfishly, to become rich and marry a princess, but his new wife, not knowing the lamp’s power, gives it away to the sorcerer.
When the sorcerer uses his new power to take Aladdin’s wife and riches, Aladdin is reduced to nothing. However, he still has a ring that the sorcerer gave him before he went in the cave, and the ring is capable of summoning another, less powerful genie. With this new genie’s help, Aladdin defeats the sorcerer.
I really love this story. I hope I can be a modern Aladdin in this time. We are similar because we start from a poor young man.
If Aladdin has a magic lamp, then I have a magic brain. This brain gives me an unlimited power to do anything in this world. As you know, I have a motto, “Learning is the only way to survive and grow”. We can learn about anything using our brain and you can use your brain to save this world from extinction. . If Aladdin fly across the Arabian skyline with its beautiful domed roofs and minarets, then I can fly across the cyber skyline. I meet many persons everywhere in this world using my notebook. I can go anywhere without have to go physically. It is a magic, isn’t it!
What about the princess? Yeach, that is my problem. If Aladdin marries a princess, then I hope I can meet my princess, the girl of my dream, as soon as possible
